About Steady

Every count and reading time on this site is computed from the text, not copied from other sites. The text is the Berean Standard Bible (31,086 verses, 729,758 words), from the eBible.org build (2026-10-20).

Reading time assumes 200 words a minute of silent reading. Plans are cut at chapter or paragraph breaks so each day has close to the same number of words.

The chronological order is Steady’s own approximate order by book and chapter block. It is a reading order, not a scholarly dating.

The Berean Standard Bible is public domain (CC0, dedicated 30 April 2023; berean.bible). The King James Version (1769) is public domain outside the United Kingdom. Both are shown unaltered. Steady never generates or paraphrases scripture.
